Restaurant Syrtaki in Barleben

Last ordered during the Corona period, the food was very tasty, hot and ready to be picked up at the ordered time. That the fries don't stay crispy, well not that bad. But otherwise gladly again !!

There is no hospitality in this inn. The boss should calmly direct his employees. Instead, he fell back and forth and hissed at his staff. What bothered us a lot were the guests waiting about 1m from our table. The food was average.

I can really recommend it! In summer a wonderful inner courtyard with a water feature ..... space for children to play!

The food is good. The price-performance ratio is right. The ambience in the courtyard is great and the staff was great with us. Friendly and in a good mood. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. We were there for two and will come again.

We were with 5 people for 2 nights in a hotel in Barleben. On both evenings we spontaneously stopped for dinner at the Syrtaki. The choice fell on this restaurant due to the good google reviews. The restaurant was well attended both times, but we got a table after a short waiting time even in corona times without prior notice. We had various starters, grill plates and grill specialties on both evenings and none of us was disappointed. Everything was very tasty and delicious, the meat was of very good quality and grilled to the point. The taste sensation was the garlic potato garnish, which we all ordered with our dishes on the second evening after the first evening. Résumé: Highly recommended Greek restaurant with really delicious food, which tastes very positive against "standard Greeks". Also very friendly staff! A little hair in the soup: The staff only flimsy, if not at all, adhered to the corona mask requirement.

Usually okay to good. Last visit we got the wrong plate and it was very salty... could be better...

Always good performance for a good price. Of course, you have to bring some time on Saturday evening since everyone wants to eat at 6 pm. If you do not want that, you should eat at 20 o'clock.

A great experience for greek food 👌👌👌

If you find yourself in or near Magdeburg then a little detour to the beautiful suburb of Barleben is well worth considering. This Greek restaurant at the heart of the village is a great place to eat and clearly popular with locals and visitors. Our visit started with a friendly greeting, a glass of Ouzo, an extensive and varied menu and efficient helpful service. By midday (on a Sunday) the restaurant was already full with diners so I guess coming early or booking ahead is recommended, at least at weekends. We had a variety of foods (lamb, gyros, noodles) which didn't take too long to arrive and which were all well presented and delicious. Portion sizes are generous and my mixed lamb platter in particular was real joy. Definitely a place to return to when I am back in the area!
